Terms of Service

1. The service

PeopleBricks runs preordering campaigns for custom brick-built models of university campuses. Placing a pledge is a reservation, not an immediate purchase. You are reserving the right to purchase a set if and when it reaches its production goal.

These Terms are between you and Pare Advisory LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under number OC459498, with its registered office at 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London WC1X 0ND, United Kingdom.

2. How pledges work

When you pledge, Stripe securely saves your payment method. $0 is charged today. No money leaves your account until the campaign closes and your set is confirmed.

Production begins once a set reaches 50 backers. If your set does not reach 50 backers by the campaign close date, it will not be produced and you will never be charged. Your card authorisation is voided and no refund is necessary because no charge was ever made.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your pledge at any time before the campaign closes. To cancel, contact us at hello@peoplebricks.co with the email address you used to pledge. Since no charge is made before the campaign closes, cancellations are immediate and require no refund.

If the campaign closes without your set reaching its goal, your pledge is automatically voided at no cost to you.

4. Pricing

The founding preorder price shown at the time of your pledge is guaranteed. It will not increase for you, regardless of demand. Displayed prices exclude shipping. Shipping costs are calculated and confirmed before any charge is made at campaign close. You will have the opportunity to review and confirm the total before your card is charged.

5. Delivery

Estimated delivery for sets that reach their goal is Q4 2026. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Backers will receive production and shipping updates throughout the fulfilment process.

6. Intellectual property

All PeopleBricks set designs are original works. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or derived from LEGO® or any other construction-toy brand. PeopleBricks and its logo are trademarks of Pare Advisory LLP. Product images, set designs, and packaging are protected by copyright.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for your pledge. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
