1. Who we are

PeopleBricks is operated by Pare Advisory LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales under partnership number OC459498, with its registered office at 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London WC1X 0ND, United Kingdom. Pare Advisory LLP is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. Information we collect

When you place a pledge, we collect the information you provide:

• Your name and email address
• Your country and city (for shipping estimates)
• Your chosen set (Picture Frame or Large 25x25 Set) and quantity
• An optional public display message
• Your pledge visibility preference (public or private)

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pledge, your card details are collected and stored securely by Stripe — they never touch our servers. We store only a Stripe payment method identifier and customer ID, which we use to charge your card if and only if the campaign succeeds. We do not have access to your full card number at any time.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Register and manage your pledge
• Show your name and message on the public backer feed (if you choose public visibility)
• Contact you about campaign progress, goal achievement, and fulfilment
• Confirm shipping costs and process payment at campaign close

5. Service providers

We use the following service providers to operate the campaign:

• Stripe — payment processing and card storage
• Cloudflare — website hosting (Cloudflare Pages) and bot protection (Turnstile)
• PostHog — product analytics (page views, pledge starts, completions)

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and contractual safeguards.

6. Data retention

We retain your pledge data until the campaign is resolved (either funded and fulfilled, or cancelled and refunded), plus an additional 12 months for accounting and legal compliance. After this period, your personal data is deleted. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to our retention obligations)
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time (cancel your pledge via the campaign page)

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@peoplebricks.co. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
